

Scholarships
The Scholarship Program, which was set up in memory of Cathy L. Miller, a perishable foods expert who created and managed sales campaigns for pizza, meats, salads, soups, and Mexican foods. Cathy died of a heart attack December 19, 1998. She was a director of the Deli Council of Northern California (previous name for Perishable Foods Council) for her last two years.
In order to be eligible for a scholarship, applicants must work for or be sponsored by an immediate family member who is a member of or an employee of a company that is a current member of the Perishable Foods Council of Northern California and lives/works in the Northern California trade area. (Immediate family members include son, daughter, brother, sister, mother, father, niece, nephew, or grandparent, including in-law thereof). PFC Interns or former Interns may apply for the scholarship.
Applicants may receive the scholarship only once.
